Pretty annoyed by my experience last night. Yesterday we had a three hour lecture on how to create the architecture of an app using three different file types. We were then instructed to implement this method of organization on some code that was written for us. So I did.

The files that were given to us were missing at least four key file names for functionality across different components. So I made them.

I then went to a TA to make sure I did this right. She informed me that while what I did was correct according to the lectures and what I was taught, that the way I implemented it wouldn’t render with the server because the server wasn’t set up in accordance with the information that was just given to me. So I had to delete basically all of my work thus far and start over. I am now very behind of my classmates as far as functionality of my app because I followed instructions.

To further my annoyance she told me that no one really follows the information from the lecture literally. So not only am I behind on building this app, but I basically wasted four pages of notes in my notebook and whatever depreciation occurs to my joints from writing four pages of notes. My future arthritical pain is very apparent in my level of annoyance.

Just made up the word arthritical. Just call me bill shakespeare.

At least I have tomorrow off.
